About Prescap

Your Prescap; the creative centre of a thriving society in Lancashire and beyond

We were born out of the community in 1985, and have been rooted in the community for over 25 years. Nowadays, we use a wide range of art forms to support regeneration, social cohesion and community development.

We prioritise work with hard to reach and socially excluded individuals, groups and communities in Lancashire – and across the North West – helping them to explore, realise and value their full potential.

We are proud of the wide range of organisations that we work with; from residents’ associations and youth groups in neighbourhoods across the county; through to organisations working with specific issues to the larger infrastructure organisations and consortia that work county-wide.
