Ambassadors for the Future

Ambassadors-for-the-Future

Working alongside the University of Central Lancashire, and a range of other organisations, Preston FM is part of the Ambassadors for the Future project.

If you’re aged 16-18, not at school or college and don’t have a job, then you can get involved in an exciting week of radio-based activities. Come and try your hand at radio with a week of workshops covering DJ skills, scratching, MC-ing, audio and music production, jingle making, podcasting and radio journalism – a different skill each day, all run by some of the best in the business.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro, or completely new to radio, you’ll find a workshop that’s right for you – and get your hands on our studios as you create your own radio programmes. It’s great fun, plus you’ll pick up vital skills, experience and contacts to help you break in to the radio and music industry.

Activities run at least every month, and can often be arranged at short notice – give us a call (01772 880791) or an e-mail (chris@prescap.co.uk) and we can set you up with all the information you need to get started.
