John Storey
Organisational Development Manager
John’s first job was as a presenter at Radio City in Liverpool, he went onto become an experienced radio manager and broadcaster and has worked for over 30 years for a variety of commercial radio groups and stations all around the country.
He also has a wealth of voluntary sector experience, having worked at the Ariel Trust, where he managed the first educational community station in the country. CSV Media he ran a media training centre and for Action For Children he was a fundraising manager. John was also instrumental in setting up Rock FM’s ‘Help A Local Child’ charity- which over the years has helped scores of disadvantaged children & young people.
John leads on five different areas of our business, Marketing, HR, Development, Finance and Administration, he also manages our Social Enterprise, Your Creative.
He managed our move from our two old sites to our brand new Arts & Media Centre, so his favourite time at work was the day we moved in after 18 months of hard work. Being a Scouser, his favourite river has to be the River Mersey.
