Community Arts Development
We prioritise work with hard to reach and socially excluded individuals, groups and communities in Lancashire and across the North West.
We are trusted, due to the integrity, experience and local knowledge with which we deliver projects. As a result we have strong links into neighbourhoods and ‘communities of interest’. We work long term with partners, sometimes months or years before any art is involved, to help them develop and resource creative ideas to transform the lives of the people they work with.
Once the scene is set, we can leap into action bringing our comprehensive project management experience; our phalanx of skilled, trained community artists; and our commitment to effective monitoring and evaluation – along with all the boring bits that our partners might not want to deal with, like safeguarding / child protection procedures and practice, financial management, administration, health & safety and making sure there are enough cakes in meetings.
