Funky Fridays
Keith Martin
JuneFunk is not Funk but is June, the show kicks off with Judas Priest and Painkiller, it sets the stage for a different show, this month.
The featured group is a band called The Fiction, they are a friends band and jolly good they are too. As they are a rock band, I thought it only fair that I play a few trax that I also linke intermingled with their four tracks. I hope you enjoy it!

The Penwortham Pumpkin Patch is coming along well. A gift of 7 tonnes of compost from Global Renewables was shifted in record time.
The next working party is on 12th of May. We will also be setting weekly dates as things progress, all the info will be on the SRTT website.
The Pumpkin Patch is off Apinal Close, Kingsfold, Penwortham
If you would like to get involved, have a patch of land in your area that you think could be used to grow vegetables and fruit, follow the link.
All are welcome.

The Town Council has offices to let in their building, I did go and have a look, the smallest starts from £50 a week and includes many things. If you need an office or know some one who may do, give them a ring at the Community Centre
You will also find links to their Facebook site and all the info you will need.
The council meets the first Tuesday of every month, but, remember this is the Guild Year, so check the web site for details.
They are on twitter too @Mick_Cronin
